Cultivation Technician

**WE ARE**:
A Health Canada Licensed Micro Cultivator with a grow facility located in Sundre, Alberta.

**General Duties of Cultivation Tech (Not Exhaustive of all Duties)**
- Execute cloning, cutting, and transplanting activities.
- Conduct watering, labeling, and inventory data input.
- Monitor and maintain plant care during the vegetative and flowering phases.
- Perform trimming, staking, de-leafing, and pruning.
- Cut plants during harvesting, ensuring accuracy in weighing and inventory data input.
- Execute drying and curing processes, including hanging and de-racking flowers.
- Conduct trimming of dried flowers by hand or machine.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping for grow notes, environmental controls, timekeeping, and scheduling.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of cultivation workspaces and tools.
- Implement pest and disease control measures.
- Operate and maintain cultivation systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with supervisors on inventory updates and reporting.

**A Plus, but Not Required**
- At least 2 years of experience in cannabis cultivation or a related field.
- Knowledge of cannabis cultivation, including cloning, trimming, and post-harvest processing.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and Health Canada regulations.

**Working Conditions**(Scheduled, Environment)
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds multiple times a day and work with a step ladder.
- Be comfortable working in tight and awkward positions.
- Must be able to pass background checks.
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to cooperation, trust, and respect.

- Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, allergens, pollen, and other environmental variables.

**Pay**
- **Starting at $19.50 an hour**
