We are currently seeking a full time Heavy Equipment Operator Instructor for our Training School. We are willing to train.

Job Summary/Responsibilities

Teach students using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, shop sessions, seminars, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects.

In Class
- Prepare students for in field operations
- General safety training
- Teach relevant materials in compliance with MTCU curriculum
- Safe operating procedures, inspections and maintenance techniques
- Keep a log of students hours in class and field
- Work with training team to schedule students training hours and manage weekly intake within schedule
- Other MTCU mandatory curriculum

In Field
- General safety training
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness and general organization
- Pre-start and inspection procedures
- Provide operator training with students one-on-one and in groups
- Ensure a safe, clean, reliable training unit. Pre-check units well in advance of training in order to have necessary repairs completed

**Requirements**:

- Heavy equipment operator with 4 years experience OR 2 years experience and college degree
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Professional attitude
- Ability to communicate information respectively and effectively with students

Salary
- Commensurate with experience

Anticipated Start Date
- As soon as possible
