**Tasks pertinent to the Cashier position;**
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Acknowledge customers as they leave the store
- Ensure customers have a pleasant shopping experience
- Participate in promotional activities
- Operate cash register
- Balance cash and totals
- Scan items and tabulate total payment for goods and services provided
- Process transactions involving money; credit cards/debit cards
- Suggestive selling
- Participate in stocking shelves on truck arrival days
- Keep counter, cart, and foyer area swept and clean
- Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate department
- Use price scanner, interact machine

**Work Conditions and physical capabilities**
- Fast paced environment
- Work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Work in a team environment

While previous experience is not required it would be beneficial to the position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $14.50-$15.00 per hour
