The Big Scoop is a friendly family restaurant in Middleton, NS. We offer a dining room, full-service patio along with takeout options Established in 1974 and has been locally owned and operated ever since.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Short Order Cook to help support our team. The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Operate and maintain the kitchen in a safe manner
- Follow health and safety standards and adhere to food safe protocols

Must be available for a variety of shifts including mornings, nights, weekdays and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
