This role - Furniture Installer - is technically inclined and detail oriented. This position involves servicing, repairing, and installing all types of office furniture and case goods.
**THE ROLE**

The role reports to our Operations Manager in our Burnaby, BC warehouse.
- Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings and specifications
- Professional appearance, Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
- Load and unload trucks with supplies, product, and equipment
- Assemble and install office systems furniture
- Willing to work 40 hours per week, plus evenings and weekends where required
- Effectively handle power and hand tools
- Perform service and repair assessments and installations
- Be able to consistently lift and carry 60-100lbs
**ABOUT YOU**
You enjoy building, repairing, and finding solutions. Your background allows you to problem solve, meet client demands and be adaptable. You are action orientated, well organized and have solid communication skills. The ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints is key to the success of this role. The role requires someone who is a self-starter/ hard worker with the ability to work under pressure managing multiple tasks.
If you are a quick learner, can adapt and have a passion for completing work within competing deadlines, this may be the position for you. These are complex sales, where you’ll manage competing priorities, multiple internal and external stakeholders, and varying deliverables. Your experience in a similarly complex customer service/sales/design/construction environment will be crucial for your success here.
The number of projects you’ll have on the go at any given time will vary depending on their size and scope.
