There is an opportunity for growth into many areas within the warehouse environment including: - Product inspections and processing paperwork - Installing blinds into skylights prior to shipping to customers - Shipping coordination on computer system **Responsibilities**: - Main warehouse duties will include order picking, shipping and receiving - Safe daily operation of an electric counter balance lift truck - Warehouse and equipment maintenance - Other warehouse duties as assigned **Qualifications** - Previous warehouse experience is an asset - Forklift certification/experience is an asset - Must be physically fit with the ability to lift >50 lbs - Self-management and organizational skills - Creative thinking and problem solving - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Professional appearance and attitude - Superior commitment to customer service - Available to work days **Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: To be discussed **Normal Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Find out more about VELUX Canada at velux.ca Pay: From $20.76 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: - 8 hour shift Application question(s): - Do you have previous warehouse experience? - Can you comfortably lift + 50 lbs? - Do you have a forklift license?
