We are looking for an energetic and experienced IT and Audio Video installation technician to join our team.

**Scope**:

- Works on assignments that require considerable judgment and initiative. Makes recommendations for solutions
- Works within guidelines and takes ownership of results. May act as a mentor to less experienced team members.

- All analog and digital patch points
- As well as the base understanding of general AV equipment (microphones, speakers, projectors, DJ consoles, etc.)

**The main responsibilities for this role include**:

- Attending to all requests for Audio/Video setup within the office;
- Creating, implementing and documenting new Audio/Video procedures;
- Maintaining Audio/Video equipment for directly or by coordinating support with the equipment vendor;
- Regularly ensuring all boardrooms are functioning as intended;
- Responding to technical issues submitted to the Help Desk, act as a first point of contact for employees within the Firm requiring assistance and log them in the Help Desk Ticketing System;
- Providing friendly and professional Help Desk service;
- Documenting all incidents and steps taken through to resolution;
- Additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
- Responsible for installation of all AV equipment and displays to include: audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, control systems and all presentation systems.
- Perform installation of structured cabling to include pulling, terminating and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cables.
- Ensure that SLAs and daily deliverables are met including ticket updates
- Upload Crestron control programs to control processors and work with remote program team on control system certification.
- Manage inventory, including weekly/monthly stock levels, returning product (RMA) and inventory DOA issues.
- Follow all policies, standards or safety guidelines required by client
- Responsible for problem solving and troubleshooting of any issue that may arise during an installation.
- Perform equipment setups, breakdowns and troubleshoot issues during events.
- Perform all necessary pre-event checks as required.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and internal users before and during events.
- Interface with end users and vendors to address requests and requirements.
- Identify and solve issues that impact client conference rooms.
- Adeptly leverages knowledge and expertise

**Position Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in related field (internship offered)
- College diploma or university degree in information technology, computer science, comparable work experience and/or a combination of technical certifications;
- Extensive experience with Audio/Video equipment and software;
- Extensive experience using and supporting soft video conferencing and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom;
- Proven ability to adapt to changes in technology and implementation of new workflow processes and procedures;
- Experience working with an ITIL compatible ITSM tool an asset;
- Excellent customer service.

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year
