The Role - Who You’ll Work With
- The HS/PRS Intake Case Specialist, reporting to the Lead Intake/Case Specialist and will work with Regional Supervisors, Caseworkers, the Quality Assurance Lead, and Quality Assurance Specialists. The HS/PRS Intake Case Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a reasonable mix and distribution of cases across TPG regions to available Caseworkers.

What You’ll Do
The HS/PRS Intake Case Specialist will:

- Coordinate acceptance referrals of UC’S for the Home Study and Post Release Services program
- Accepts, processes, transfer and assign home study and post release service cases for assigned service location area/region
- Track capacity of the HS/PRS cases at each assigned service area to ensure capacity compliance of 90%
- Maintain and monitor case type assignation per site to ensure case load capacity
- Meet with other Intake Case Specialist and HS/PRS Regional Supervisors regularly to assure case assignment and provide guidance on referral issues or concerns
- Reporting capacity trends, areas of growth and identification of referral gaps to immediate supervisor
- Utilize organization and systems to ensure timely assignation of cases
- Create reports/documents for reporting purposes

The Impact of Your Results - Will be primarily responsible for coordination of successful referral acceptance and assignation of UC post reunification

What We’re Looking for
- Key Skills: _
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Behavioral Health Sciences, or Social Work
- 2 years of related work experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent organizational abilities
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking or problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Ability to be detailed oriented and multi-task
- Ability to create and present reports
- Excellent judgement
- Bilingual and bicultural: English and Spanish
- Key Knowledge: _
- In-depth understanding of service areas and capacity management
- Must be knowledgeable about family preservation, kinship care, and/or general child welfare
- Experience conducting homes studies and writing thorough assessment reports
- Prior experience with ORR HS/PRS a benefit

The Work Environment - Remote work, from home office.

Work Schedule - This is a full-time position.
