**We are seeking an experienced tractor operator to assist with maintaining various local farm properties that we manage and maintain. This position could lead to a permanent full-time position with our company.**
- **Tractor Operation**: Safely operate farm tractors and related machinery for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the tractor and equipment. Report any mechanical issues to the manager and in house mechanics.
- **Field Preparation**: Prepare fields for planting by plowing, discing, and leveling as needed. Follow guidelines for different crops and soil conditions.
- **Crop Management**: Assist with planting, fertilizing, and spraying crops based on seasonal needs and farm schedules.
- **Record Keeping**: Keep accurate records of equipment use, field activities, and maintenance. Report on crop progress and any issues.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow safety protocols to minimize risks. Wear protective gear and adhere to farm safety procedures.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work with other farm staff to coordinate tasks, share information, and support farm operations.
- **Flexibility and Adaptability**: Be prepared to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, especially during peak seasons.

**Schedule**:
Flexible. Requires both weekdays/weekends

**Wage**:
To be discussed based on demonstrated experience.

Own Transportation, Valid G class Driver's Licence

Location: Vineland, ON

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
