Host (Tap 25)

Overview:
A structured Host/Hostess role is critical to provide guidance to guests in the restaurant or casino. The Host/Hostess will typically spend the most time with guests during their stay at the restaurant.

Responsible for greeting the guests, seating them and explaining any specials or other relevant information.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and seating customers
- Explaining specials and promotions
- Schedule dining reservations
- Assign work tasks and coordinate
- Maintain a neat and clean work area
- Assist servers when needed
- To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must have previous customer service experience, preferably in a related environment.
- AGLC - Proserve/Protect preferred
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours/day.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing, positive and upbeat
- Good organization and multi-tasking skills
- Pleasant and accommodating, willing to go the extra mile
- Sincere desire to please
- Sense of urgency and work ethic
- Calm and organized demeanor
- High level of self confidence

The schedule for this position requires an open availability and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays
