Night-shift Construction Site Superintendent

Ritestart Limited is a COR Certified General Contractor in the ICI sector and is looking for a qualified, knowledgeable, adaptable individual to join our growing team and to develop their career as a **Site Superintendent **to work **nightshift** on a variety of active construction projects.

We specialize in renovations, retrofits, new buildings and additions across the GTA and surrounding areas.

The Site Superintendent will report to the General Superintendent and will be responsible for all activities on the construction site.

We are seeking someone who has a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Site Superintendent who is versed and knowledgeable in ICI construction.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Provide and display leadership and mentor all site personnel to follow Ritestart Limited’s Health and Safety Program and follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects.
- Act with honesty and integrity and be professional in all aspects of the work.
- Collaborate with and motivate subcontractors and own forces to work safely and efficiently with a standard of high quality.
- Review contract documentation thoroughly to understand the project scope and specifications.
- Ensure that the project is built in accordance with the approved plans and specifications, building codes and shop drawings.
- Maintain project scheduling adherence, adjusting as required in coordination with the Project Management Team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs.
- Attend and/or chair project and/or safety meetings as required.
- Establish and identify on-site manpower requirements.
- Conduct quality control checks on all work to ensure compliance with client and consultant requirements.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Site Superintendent focused in the ICI sector.
- College, Technical Degree, or Tradesman Certificate.
- Solid understanding construction trades, techniques and Building Code requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, shop drawings and provide layout.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Present a professional demeanor with owners, clients and consultants.
- Experience managing subcontractors, labour personnel and suppliers.
- Ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Current and up-to-date safety training, including, but not limited to WHMIS, MOL 5 Steps, first aid and CPR is an asset.
- Valid G driver’s license.
- Ability to work night shift.

This is a permanent, full-time, nightshift position working on a construction project in the GTA and/or surrounding area.

**Salary**: $85,000 - $110,00 per year (based on experience).
