Caregiver (A30)

_**RAPS is Seeking a Caregiver to Assist an Individual with Dementia (A30)**_
- **LOCATION**_: West Edmonton (Near West Edmonton Mall) _
- **Days and Hours**_: _
- **Day shift**:_Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:00pm_
- **Weekend Shift**:_Every second Saturday & Sunday 11:00am - 2:00pm (flexible)_
- **Rate of Pay: $20/Hour To start**_
- **JOB DESCRIPTION**_: Duties include but are not limited to personal care (sponge bath, dressing, oral hygiene), mobility assistance, minor meal preparation with feeding assistance, help with basic exercises, client engagement, supervision, and companionship. _
- **QUALIFICATIONS**_: Recent Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector, minimum 6-months experience in the health care field, be vaccinated against covid-19 (wear a mask for shift duration) and be a non-smoker. Driver’s license/vehicle is considered an asset. Preference given to those who have previous Dementia experience. Ability to speak Chinese (or able to pick up a few basic words) is also a strong asset. _

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
