Burlington, Canada Making Space Psychotherapy Full time

**About Us**

We are a warm community of Registered Psychotherapists who specialize in trauma and relationship issues. We all have a trauma-focused practice but each of us also bring our own niche expertise and interests as therapists.

We exist to make space for, learn about and support the healing of individual, family and collective trauma in our local community and beyond.

Both of our Hamilton and Burlington locations are designed to feel peaceful and kind to the nervous system. It is important to us that we offer a truly trauma-informed space.

This is a collaborative (super supportive) team suited to someone interested in taking up space with us, and creating a home for your therapist parts. Our culture is based on community, ongoing learning and humour We feel strongly about training, and support you to develop your interests and evolve your practice.

As an employer we emphasize transparency, and we value integrity and accountability as both a therapist and member of our community.

You are self-led, honest and ethical. You have strong communication skills. You are interested in ongoing learning, and you seek out high quality supervision or consultation. You are warm and down to earth, and you have a solid grasp on your own self-care. _**You are trained in a trauma modality (that is not CBT).**_You also live within a 25 min drive to the office.

**Our Values**

We are inclusive, sex-positive, neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQ2+ allied, and secular in our approach to therapy so for the safety of our clients we ask that you have similar values.

We make a space that fosters self-acceptance, and supports our clients to live more authentically and comfortably in their daily lives. We therefore look for and support connection in our team.
