Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, our newest Liebherr Technical Trainer will be an expert in Liebherr, Earthmoving Heavy Equipment. You will be responsible for overseeing technical training and facilitation for our current and future Technicians, as well as Liebherr Canada customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the creation of a structured and revised training program for Liebherr Canada, Earth Moving Division inclusive of all technical training required for the product support team
- Provide engaging and effective product training, fundamental technology training and other service-related topics in accordance with defined Liebherr Canada safety training and policies
- Regularly evaluate the skill level of all Earth Moving Technicians for training purposes, adjust and provide additional training and support as required
- Develop customized training plans as needed for each technician and apprentice to further develop their skills
- Coordinate training within Liebherr Canada using internal and external resources
- Liaise with Liebherr International Factories for training resources and extended training as needed
- When required, develop select training content to deliver in-house for employees and customer courses; create and maintain course outlines
- Accurately maintain training records for technicians in accordance with the defined Liebherr training data base
- Other duties/projects as assigned

**Competencies**:

- Heavy Equipment, Earth Moving product knowledge & working experience is a must, Liebherr equipment experience is strongly preferred
- 5+ years experience training and facilitation in mechanical, electrical, diagnostics and operation disciplines
- Experience in needs analysis, development and delivery of technical and operator training
- Strong and engaging written and spoken communication skills required
- Demonstrated ability to develop presentations and training materials with in depth knowledge of the company products, repair process and after market service procedures
- Highly customer & safety focused
- Strong experience and comfort working with computers and various training databases/software
- Valid Drivers License/ ability to travel across Canada as require
- International travel may be required on occasion
