**Class 1 License with Dump Truck/Pony and Transfer Experience.**

RDM Trucking & Excavation company looking for Class 1 Dump Truck Driver.

Rate will increase based on experience and capability.

Must have references & proven experience.

Must be self-starter - basic mechanical repair knowledge is an asset.

Looking for tandem dump truck and pony, Truck and transfer experience an asset.

All applicants are expected to work in a Safe manner at all times on the work sites.

Be accountable for their actions.

Work with the site supervisors and other employees with respect and on a team basis.
- Pick up and deliver materials in a safe and timely manner
- Oversee all aspects of pickups and deliveries, including loading and unloading, proper securement, equipment inspection and safe delivery
- Would be operating Truck and Pony, End Dumps, Truck and Transfer

Show up to work as required and on time.

Accurately complete all work reports and maintenance logs;
Have an excellent attitude

Have good communication skills

Be physically fit
- Would be operating Truck and Pony, End Dumps, Truck and Transfer
- Oversee all aspects of pickups and deliveries, including loading and unloading, proper securement, equipment inspection and safe delivery
- Record deliveries, information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Report all issues and concerns related to equipment and vehicle maintenance in a timely manner

**Qualifications**
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Familiar with the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland
- Ability to speak and write English
- Load securement training

Overtime paid after 9 hours per day with a standard 45 hour work week.

**Schedule**
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**
- Dump truck driving: 3year (required)

**Language**

- Air brakes endorsement
- Driver’s License (Class 1)

- Driver logbook
- Inspection report (pre-trip, en route, post trip)
- Maintenance and report reports
- Trip reports

Provide a Drivers Abstract.

The ability to pass a drug/alcohol screening test.

Provide a copy of acquired tickets (if you have ) certificates: H2S, WHMIS, TDG, First Aid, etc.
