**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Trinity Village Care Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional care.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure daily cleaning standards are met in resident and public areas
- Deep clean assigned rooms. (5 per day this includes cleaning and sanitizing the whole dwelling
- Replenishing toiletries, emptying garbage, mopping floors.) and charting on iPads.
- Clean all other resident washrooms and empty garbage’s on the assigned house and charting on iPads
- Perform routine cleaning of ceiling vents and radiators
- Taking water temperatures in all rooms and documenting on iPads.
- Check and clean as needed the TV room.
- Vacuum the hallways on both long and short wings.
- Clean and sanitize the nurse’s station, remove garbage as needed.
- Clean and sanitize and remove garbage from all public use washrooms found on the house.
- Clean and sanitize and remove garbage from all spa rooms including toilets, sink and bathtub.
- Clean and sanitize and remove garbage from staff washrooms and lounges. Lounge locations
- Clean and sanitize the dining room chairs and tables on an ongoing basis, complete in conjunction with Nutrition.
- During an outbreak clean all isolation rooms no less than twice per shift.
- Check daily and change any chemicals needed in the dispensing unit found in the housekeeping closet.
- Make sure the housekeeping cart is stocked for next shift.
- Take all garbage in the soiled linen room down to the garbage bin.
- Re-stock mop heads in the laundry chute room.
- Send soiled rags and mop heads down to laundry for cleaning.
- Thoroughly clean dining room table, chairs and floors bi-weekly.
- Complete discharge cleaning for assigned rooms, use iPad checklist to verify completed work
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Compassionate attitude towards residents and their needs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $22.59 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
