Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Insurance Advisor in Surrey, BC in our Head Office. This individual will be responsible for assisting in managing a select group of accounts and is ideally suited for an experienced broker who provides the highest level of client service.

**The Opportunity**:
Are you committed to a career in the commercial insurance business sector? Do you thrive in a busy, fast paced environment?

**In this role you’ll**:

- Assist in managing policy renewals, policy changes and cancellations in accordance with Client Service Strategy.
- Obtain, review, and submit underwriting information
- Deliver exceptional client service resulting in high level of retention
- Create and distribute renewal lists; produce renewal letters; and create required documentation packages such as binders and certificates of insurance.
- Follows up on overdue amounts and refer to sales team members as required
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations as required and issue certificates to be reviewed/approved by sales team members.
- Audit coverage requests, claims notices and customer files to check for errors and missing documentation and follows up on same to resolve.

**Here’s what you bring**:

- Insurance Broker Level 2 License required
- Minimum 2 years’ insurance experience
- Commercial insurance knowledge
- Strong communication and customer service
- Positive “can-do” attitude
- Strong spirit of teamwork
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, an active listener
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
