Raymond James Independent Financial Services is seeking a qualified Branch Administrator to work in our Windsor, ON - Lighthouse Investment Services office. Raymond James Ltd. is one of Canada’s leading full-service independent investment dealers offering high quality investment products and services to Canadians seeking customized solutions to their wealth management needs.
As Branch Administrator you will provide ongoing operational administrative support to the Agent/Branch Manager. You will assist in the implementation of branch directives and ensure that a high level of service quality is evident in all aspects of day-to-day operations. In addition, you will assist the Agent /Branch Manager in providing comprehensive financial services to their clients.
A self-motivated individual with exceptional administrative skills and a dependable nature, you bring to the role an ability to work within deadlines both independently and as part of a team. Proven effective time management skills and a focus on client service a must.
Specifically you will:
- Assist the Agent /Branch Manager in the supervision of daily trading activity and credit issues for branch and sub-branches;
- Assist the Agent/Branch Manager in the supervision of the Sales Assistants and support staff in dealing with their work concerns and interaction with back office operations in order to facilitate client support;
- Develop and maintain necessary records and files for the Agency in order to ensure efficient operation;
- Take minutes of meetings and perform a variety of routine office duties as required;
- Review all new account documentation before it is signed by the Agent/Branch Manager;
- Use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs to store, edit, format, print and revise letters, memos, reports, forms, labels and other printed material;
- Be responsible for assisting in monitoring clients’ financial situations, maintaining Financial Advisor files, and handling Financial Advisor communication with home office;
- Be involved in preparing correspondence and reports, servicing clients’ general day-to-day requests, and other general office duties.
To qualify for this opportunity you possess:
- Three or more years’ experience in the investment industry environment;
- Enrolment or successful completion of the Canadian Securities course as well as the Conducts and Practices Handbook;
- Experience with Dataphile is a definite asset;
- Superior customer service skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), Internet Explorer and contact management software;
- The ability to handle confidential information;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- The ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a professional and friendly manner;
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail.
