As a part of the Brand team, the Brand Specialist will assist in managing the brand reputation of BlackBerry. You will help review marketing assets for alignment with brand guidelines, and promote the BlackBerry brand and communications internally ensuring our branding standards and achieving our strategic goals for the brand. This highly collaborative position will work closely with cross-functional teams (internal and external).

You will perform brand reviews on BlackBerry partner, field marketing and internal materials including advertising, collateral and web sites to ensure the messaging and creative is consistent with the BlackBerry brand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Intake and review of marketing collateral from internal teams
- Maintain the internal Brand site
- Develop additional brand resources
- Work with corporate marketing colleagues to maintain brand consistency across corporate assets
- Monitor marketing trends to inform brand management decisions

Skills & Qualifications:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of brand guidelines and its role in shaping a brand
- Keen interest in learning about branding
- Interest in entering the marketing field, creative or brand management
- Previous experience using design programs an asset
- Familiarity with Agile process, SharePoint and Confluence
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- A high-performance individual with an ability to learn quickly
- A bachelors degree or college diploma in Design or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience
