**MATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATOR for Metal Fabrication Shop**

**IMPORTANT**: This person *MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE HANDLING MATERIAL IN A CUSTOM METAL MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.

**CANADIAN WORKERS ONLY**:

Required Skills_:
Experience working in a sheet metal manufacturing environment is required.

**Should understand the processes involved in metal fabricating. Knowledge of sheet metal (i.e. Gage, CRS, HRS, satin coat, etc.) is expected.**

**Mandatory forklift experience and license with a minimum of 3 years experience.**

**Knowledge of standard safety practices.**

**Responsibilities_**:
**Follow a production schedule and move materials and components to various work centers accordingly**

**Read shop drawings to determine where a part, material or component should be moved for further processing**

Use a forklift to move heavy loads of sheet metal to and from work centers

Ship, pick, receive, and count inventory as required.

Maintain safe work practices.

Assist in all logistics departments as required. We offer: We offer our employees competitive wages between $23 to $26 /hr based on experience

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
