AG Doors / Condoor is a family-owned specialty door contractor / manufacturer operating from Port Coquitlam BC. We supply and install metal and aluminum doors, frames, and related hardware and glazing.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Work in the shop to assemble and glaze a variety of metal and aluminum glazing systems including doors, framing, storefront, curtain wall, architectural hardware
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Drive/travel to job sites to install glazing systems when required
- Repair, troubleshoot, and retrofit existing openings and hardware when required
- Work at different heights, using boom, scissor lift, scaffolding, etc., when required
- Operate forklift (if able) when required

**Experience**
- Previous glazing experience, especially in commercial settings or in a related field is required
- Experience with doors, frames, hardware is an asset
- Experience working in a production setting such as an aluminum stick shop is an asset

**Qualifications**
- Formal education in the field (such as a degree, diploma, or certification from a trade school) is an asset
- Forklift ticket is an asset
- Fall protection, scissor lift, boom lift certifications are an asset
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Possession of valid work permit or otherwise authorized to work in Canada

**Skills**
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand instructions from design team is required
- Good at managing priorities and multitasking (critical)
- Exceptional proficiency and communication skills in English (critical)
- Ability to work well under pressure, deal with a variety of options in complex situations, and solve difficult problems
- Ability to take the initiative, work autonomously and as part of a team
- Accuracy, attention to details
- Ability to lift more than 50 lb when required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.81-$37.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
