Highwork Height Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of construction sites before the commencement of a project
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the job site
- Operate hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Clean and maintain work areas to ensure safety and organization
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform duties effectively and efficiently
- Safely access the installation location may invlove using an elevated work platform or installing a temporary lifeline system or anchor points
- Install fall protection system components to specifications
- Install cables and associated components to specifications
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure that concrete pours are completed to specification
- Inspect fall protection systems and asscociated cpmponents for any deficiencies
- Remove from service fall protection systems that are unsafe for use
- Dismantle fall proteciton systems

Competencies:

- Proven experience in performing physical labor on construction sites
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment used in construction projects
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures on job sites
- Previous experience in operating heavy machinery or equipment
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and materials
- Lifting and rigging
- Operating elevated working equipment
- Assembling steel structures
- Understanding clearance principles of fall protection systems

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $16.99-$29.22 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
