We are currently seeking an experienced **Merchandising** **Team Lead** to join our dynamic on-site operations team. We’re looking for a go getter that takes pride in their work, is a natural leader that creates a fun and positive work environment for their team and who is highly organized with strong communication and time management skills.

**Position Overview**

The Team Lead’s main responsibility will be to successfully guide a team of 12 to 15 retail associates through a 10-week multi-store refacing project, ensuring flawless merchandising and digital price tagging is well completed and on schedule. Monday-Friday each week, the team will remove all current shelf labels and install new electronic shelf labels throughout the entire store. This position is territory based, where each week will be spent in a different retail location.
- *1-3 weeks may involve travelling outside your home territory In such cases, all travel costs and accommodation will be covered by Match Retail.*_

- Project Dates: September 9, 2024, to November 15, 2024
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
- $25 to $30/hour + 4% vacation pay
- + Completion Bonus of up to $800
- Hours/Week: Hourly, up to 40 hours/week

**Responsibilities**
- Review the daily notes prior to each shift, walk the specified areas in-store to ensure feasibility and assign tasks to the merchandising team. Daily tasks may include:

- Adjust and install new retail store pricing fixtures.
- Understand and follow site plans and department setups.
- Ensure successful merchandising and digital pricing updates throughout the store.
- Ensure that merchandisers work efficiently to complete their tasks.
- Manage all provided tools/equipment inventory (rented or owned by Match) for the entire project duration, ensuring all pieces are returned upon project completion.
- Oversee the training and development of team members on a regular basis.
- Manage shift sign-in/out log for all team members
- Complete all duty reports and surveys within strict deadlines.
- Maintain a professional relationship with the store management and their employees.

**Position Requirements**
- Access to a vehicle/reliable way to commute to the locations
- Ability to travel for the role and lead store projects in different markets. All travel expenses will be covered by the company.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 20 lbs., bend and stand for 8+ hours a day.
- Experience in supervising staff
- Detail-oriented, problem solving, and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to develop relationships, prioritize, and coach.
- Flexible, reliable, and friendly
