**Production Planner / Scheduler**

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning, monitoring, and maintaining daily/weekly production schedules using work order information, equipment, inventory, and personnel availability.
- Developing and maintaining planning tools to assist in production schedule accuracy.
- Monitoring production capacity to report accurate lead times.
- Evaluating, and maintaining work order job instructions to ensure relevant information is up-to-date.
- Daily duties will include tracking work orders, monitoring priorities and delivery dates, reviewing production and shipment schedules, updating labour/machine build times, and completing status reports for production progress and work in process.
- Driving on-time delivery initiatives.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiative
- Responsible for accurate raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels; accuracy of product data for the finished product
- Generate Master Production Schedules and Manufacturing Orders, forecast inventory requirements, optimize inventory levels as well as help the organization evaluate inventory management
- Close out completed project assemblies and report inventory usage and hours

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases, and prior experience and familiarity with ERP software an asset.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in order to meet departmental needs, make effective decisions and perform various tasks with changing priorities and deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in and promote a team-oriented environment.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
- Willingness to continuously learn.
