Reporting to the Manager, Ops. Burnaby & Westridge Terminals. This position is responsible for acting as a single point of contact and to internally and externally administer and coordinate maintenance activities related to the Burnaby and Westridge Terminals.

This position is based in our Burnaby Regional Office and is a full-time**in office**position.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities, including testing and record keeping. Evaluate equipment outages and schedule the required resources involving maintenance techs and 3rd party contractors for the necessary repairs/maintenance. Communicate status/impact of outages to affected parties. Act as a technical specialist for the MVCS system at Westridge. Checking to ensure the status of maintenance items are being systemically updated in the maintenance system. Assist in developing procedures and participate in audits.
- Monitor the EAM/D365 process for breakdown and preventative maintenance issues and ensure timely completion. Subject matter expertise to provide input in the development of procedures, work orders and TOTARA training.
- Review and provide input to engineering job plans, assess impact on current operational requirements and ensure availability of manpower. Ensures that staff has the resources, information and general operational updates that will impact work.
- Contractor management in accordance with company's contractor competency program. Facilitate access of 3rd party technicians who provide specialized services. Work closely with Operations.
- Attend meetings representing Terminal Operations in HAZOP, JHA, Maintenance, Operations, Safety and Expansion based projects and provide feedback.
- Emergency response - Trained in ICS to fill role in Ops Section. May act as Facility Security Officer.
- In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor can assume the role of that Supervisor. Assist with interview and hiring process for new employees. Assists with the development of shift schedule to ensure 24-hour coverage, limits overtime and accounts for vacation schedules.

**Professional Qualifications**
- High school diploma completion.
- 6 years or more of related work experience; with a minimum of 5 years operations or maintenance experience at specific terminal.
- Trades (Red Seal) and/or Project Management certification would be considered an asset.
- Planning and Coordination - Good understanding of philosophies, practices, principles, and techniques of operation in a plant or industrial setting.
- Progression through a comprehensive training program to demonstrate a high level of competency at an industrial facility. This position requires specific TMC operating expertise that is gained by attaining a Maintenance Tech 1 or Operator Tech 1 certification, or proven equivalence.
- Experience in Project Management/Coordination is considered an asset.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and process a high volume of tasks, including version control of various documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and take initiative to problem solve and move items forward.
- Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and handle tight timelines.
