Commercial Logistics Inc. is searching for an experienced Fleet Supervisor to join our team in Kamloops, BC.

Commercial Logistic Inc. is an asset based trucking company, offering both less-than-truckload (LTL) and Full-truckload (FTL) service to all points in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. **Work Location**:Kamloops

**Hours**: Monday - Friday 10:00 am to 6:30pm - Hours will vary to meet operational needs during peak seasons and/or to cover vacations.

**Position Overview**:
Working independently with guidance from the Direct Store Delivery DSD Operations Manager as required, supervises and directs the activities of the Router, Dispatcher and a workforce of drivers responsible for carrying out the duties of the Direct Store Delivery program and Tractor Service activities. Responsibilities have considerable impact on the efficient operations of his/her own and other areas, and may have moderate impact on the long term success of the company’s operation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervises operational activity of the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Fleet
- Ensures delivery schedule is maintained
- Creates and/or approves daily routing plan
- Monitors daily driver’s logs and maintains accurate records of equipment and labor costs and report
- Ensures compliance with transport and vehicle regulations
- Approves driver payroll and vendor expenses
- Manpower planning and scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Ensure compliance to policies, practices and performance and taking corrective actions as required.
- Assists in overseeing customer service activity in the Region.
- Provides backup/support and vacation coverage for Operations Supervisors and Branch Manager as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Specialist certificate/diploma plus 2 to 3 years experience; or at least 4 to 6 years related experience
- Lift Truck Certification is required but can be provided post employment.
- Level 1 First Aid Certificate is required but can be provided post employment.
- Experience with business management systems (i.e., Transportation Management System, Warehouse Management System) is an asset
- Class 1 Direct Delivery experience is an asset.
