**Finance Clerk Description**
**JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW**
**OVERVIEW**:
**Major Areas for Responsibility**:
- Answering phones (If needed)
- Creating Quotes, Purchase Orders, and Invoices
- Ready Commissions on a monthly basis
- Input invoices into Dext (Office Software Used)
- Code all invoices and receipts to the proper accounts
- File documents as needed
- Update approved Quotes in Xero (Office Software Used)
- Work closely with the Sales and Project Teams
**Necessary Skills & Knowledge**:
- Strong financial background
- Reliable and Flexible
- Good eye for detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem solving
- Able to multitask
- Able to work alone with little or no supervision
**Qualifications**:
- A degree/diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Dext and Xero
- Strong analytical skills for account and bank reconciliation
- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial analysis
- Previous experience in using accounting software
- Knowledge of sales processes and financial transactions
**Physical Demands**:
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to work evening and weekends as required to meet deadlines
**Work Environment**:
- Work in an office environment
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
**Experience**:
- Accounts receivable: 2 years (required)
- Accounts payable: 2 years (required)
- Time management: 2 years (required)
