**Compugen is seeking a Automation Specialist for an initial 6 month contract working remotely.**
**You will be instrumental in defining the Automation Centre of Excellence development standards and operational support strategy**
- Reporting to the Automation COE Lead, the Automation Specialist - Senior works as a liaison among business operations, technology groups, clients, business partners, and vendors to identify and transform business needs into solutions utilizing the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform. The RPA Specialist will be responsible for assessing, modelling, testing and implementing intelligent automation of processes using RPA tools. The position defines the appropriate design and governance over process automation across all areas of the organization.
- The RPA specialist has quality assurance responsibilities including reviewing and approving user acceptance test plans, testing functional requirements, data integrity, user outputs, output distribution and scheduling all time driven processes for the RPA platform.
- Must-have experience standing up/leading a new or existing development team
- Must-have In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Must-have experience working using agile methodologies for development
- Must-have skills: Microsoft Power Automate / Power App / Power Platform experience
- Develops and configures Microsoft Power Automate process components, including process flows, control logic, environment configuration, exception handling, and integrations with various systems. Maintains a repository of reusable templates and workflows.
- Develops and maintains code required to extend the capabilities of the Microsoft Power Automate platform, e.g. adding extension functions
- Collects, analyzes, trains, and refines AI modelling tools, including developing models for categorization of data, form processing, and entity extraction.
- Designs and builds test cases, plans and strategies for automation use cases that are onboarded into the Microsoft Power Automate platform.
- Must have experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process design documents, transition to production documents etc for post go-live activities and end user training
**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related IT discipline.
- Seven years of experience in the IT industry, including;
- Five years of progressive experience in systems analysis, design, and programming
- Two years maintaining Microsoft Power Automate solutions.
- OR
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Five years of experience in the IT industry, including;
- Three years of progressive experience in systems analysis, design, and programming.
- Two years maintaining Microsoft Power Automate solutions.
**Plus the following**:
- Working knowledge of SAfe Agile Framewoke is an asset
- Latest Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certificate is an asset.
- Supplementary courses in business analysis are an asset.
- Experience with other RPA tools, like MS Power Automate, is an asset.
- Experience in project management or leadership capacity is an asset.
- Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Working knowledge of project management practice and principles.
- Working knowledge of business analysis tasks, activities, techniques, and requirements gathering processes.
- Working knowledge of ITIL environment using tools such as Remedy.
- Ability to manage multiple activities within established deadlines.
- Ability to complete technical reports and conduct thorough research.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, in order to convey technical information in a clear, concise and understandable manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships.
