**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure high-quality food service.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
**Skills**
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
