Personal Support Worker
- Hours - Morning/Evening + every other weekend
- Must meet one of the following criteria:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, and respite.
- Assess the environment for safety during each patient visit.
- Report/communicate observations or concerns to the appropriate individual(s), as necessary.
- Other relavent tasks as assgined

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Successful completion of a Ministry of Education approved PSW Training Program (minimum 640 hours) from a Community College or a school approved by the National Association of Career Colleges OR
- RN, RPN, Paramedic, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy students with successful completion of Year 1 OR
- Holds a valid certificate as a Home Support Worker (level II or III), Health Care Aide, or Personal Attendant OR
- Foreign Trained Nurse, Midwife, or Physician OR
- Holds a valid certificate as a Developmental Support Worker.
- Do you have Canadian Citizenship status? (Yes/No)
- Are you in Permanent Resident of Canada (PR) status? Yes/No:

- Are you in full-time student status this year? (Yes/No)
- If Markham is not your preferred work area, which area would you like to work in?
- Do you drive to work if hired? (Yes/No:)
