Allied Universal is seeking** Professional Security Guards** in Halifax Canada**.**

**Title: Security Guard**

**Location: Halifax**

**Payrate: $15.20 to $16.00 per hour**

**Schedule: Monday to Sunday.**

**Shifts
- Rotating shifts
- 3pm to 11pm; 11pm to 7am; 7am to 7pm & 7pm to 7am.**

**Overview**:
**Requirement**:

- Open shift availability.
- Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Must have a valid NS Security License (or we will get it done for the applicant).
- Must be eligible to work in Halifax up to 24 hours a week.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficient with computers, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.
- Responds to Emergency Situations such as fires, Chemical Spills, Medical Emergencies, Phone Threats, answers alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
- Completes monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including site management, in a professional manner.
- Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
