The City of St. Catharines is currently recruiting for Probationary Firefighters and will be maintaining a twenty-four (24) month eligibility list. The following qualifications must be met to become a Fire Fighter for The City of St. Catharines: - Grade 12 Diploma. - Valid Class "D" Ontario Driver's Licence with "Z" Endorsement. - OR other Licence Classification that allows driving in Class D including Class A, B, C with Z Air Brake Endorsement. - NFPA 1001 Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualification Firefighter Level 1 & Firefighter Level 2 Certification.
