Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Design Manager, Civil & Municipal Roadways**to join our team
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Supervise and manage CAD designers, drafters, and technicians
- Lead and participate in the development of CAD design deliverables
- Assign CAD design tasks, monitor progress and set deadlines ensuring timely submission of deliverables
- Provide mentorship and training on CAD software, design standards and processes
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and obtain directions
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate civil and roadway CAD designs as required
- Ensure CAD designs meet industry and client specifications, standards and regulatory requirements
- Implement and conduct QA and QC processes to ensure compliance with CAD design software requirements, standards, templates, workflows and methodologies
**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
- Proficiency in CAD and/or Roadway Design software (AutoCAD, Microstation, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of various municipal roadway/industry design standards, workflows and processes
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
- Advanced written and verbal communication skillsMicrosoft Office Suite
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:
- Advanced knowledge of various roadway/transportation engineering CAD Design software (Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, InRoads, AutoTurn, Torus, etc.)
- Problem solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Knowledge of ProjectWise
