**Fire Alarm Technician Required**

Fire Alarm Systems Technologies Inc.

We are a small fire alarm company that has been in business for 30 years that requires a qualified fire alarm technician to service and maintain fire alarm systems both conventional and addressable. This is a permanent, full time position. Majority of the work will be in the Edmonton area with the occasional trip out of town.

We provide service to maintain commercial and industrial fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems. The majority of our work is on industrial gas plants. Pay dependent on years of experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform inspections, verifications, service and troubleshooting of existing fire protection, special fire suppression and fire alarm systems
- Perform upgrades, repairs, additions of improvement to systems following inspection
- On-call after hours rotation

**Qualifications**:

- Alberta Fire Alarm Certification or Canadian Fire Alarm Association Certification **(mandatory)**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in the field
- Class 5 drivers licence with clean record **(mandatory)**:

- Good communication, writing skills and record keeping
- Aptitude for electrical/electronic troubleshooting
- Ability to work comfortably unsupervised

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $62,400.00-$83,200.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Fire Alarm Technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Alberta fire alarm P-number or CFAA ticket (required)
- Class 5 or better Driver's Licence (required)
