Reefer Technician

**SUMMARY**

A leader in trailer rental, leasing, and maintenance solutions, Trailcon Leasing is currently hiring a **Reefer Technician**for our location in **Woodstock,**Ontario.
- **Experience working on both Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units is a strong asset (work Mobile and in the shop).**_

**Available Shift**: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

- **What you will do as a Reefer Technician**:_
- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical systems, heating and refrigeration systems
- Repair and maintain Trailcon & customer equipment
- PM services for all units when required
- Assist with maintenance of the mobile service unit
- Inventory replenishment and control
- Perform customer service functions including diagnosis and recommendations, and provide advise on repairs and estimates for same where required
- Enter and update information via the maintenance tablet in real-time
- Operate mobile service truck and complete repairs in a safe manner at all times
- Other duties as required to support operations
- Complete work orders in a timely manner and report relevant issues to Manager
- **Qualifications and Requirements**:_
- Licensed Truck-Trailer Service Technician (310J) or Truck and Coach Technician (310T)
- ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention) certification
- Welding, fabricating, electrical, mechanical and reefer experience preferred
- Must be able to work independently and engage in a team atmosphere
- Organized and self-motivated worker with great attention to detail
- A clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift heavy parts up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, training documents and complete repair procedures in accordance with Ministry of Transportation repair requirements
