**Full Job Description**

MTG Healthcare Academy is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated **Registered Massage Therapist** to join our team as a Massage Therapy Instructor. This role will involve instructing both theory classes on Google Classroom and providing clinical instruction to our Massage Therapy students in-campus.

**Primary Responsibility**:

- Delivering engaging and informative instruction on massage therapy theories through our online platform, Google Classroom.
- Evaluating students' understanding and mastery of massage therapy and assessment skills, including ROM, gait/postural analysis, and special testing.
- Providing guidance and support to students before, during, and after their massage therapy treatments, within the scope of a Registered Massage Therapist's practice, including Massage Therapy, Assessment, and Remedial/Therapeutic Exercises.
- Organizing and conducting clinical orientations, schedules, and events for each term.
- Reviewing and marking students' SOAP notes and maintaining accurate records of monthly and term evaluations.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Massage Therapist in Good Standing with the provincial regulatory body (ex. TC-CMTA).
- Massage Therapy diploma from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical work experience as a Registered Massage Therapist.
- Minimum of 12 months of adult education and teaching experience.
- Up-to-date Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
- Proficiency in Google Applications / Google Classroom and proficient use of the Internet.
- Strong understanding of Adult Learning Principles is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with instructors teaching theory classes based on the school's curriculum.

**Hours of Work**:
This is a part-time ongoing position requiring availability on weekdays, Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (20 hours per week).

Presently, we offer a range of programs, including the Massage Therapy Diploma Program, Advanced Massage Therapy Diploma Program, and Developmental Service Worker Diploma Program.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
