The Visual Lead works directly with Field Visual and Operational teams to maximize Company visual presentation by identifying market needs and develop appropriate strategies to support brand, image and sales initiatives. The Visual Specialist is responsible for maximizing sales productivity through effective implementation of visual presentation strategies and directives, support store operations in the overall store merchandising, coordinate all visual presentation activities at store level and train store personnel in the area of visual presentation.

Essential Job Functions

*Implement visual presentation strategies with store personnel, ensuring visual directions meet Company standards

*Ensure marketing is coordinated and executed effectively
- Monitor Inventory levels and communicate discrepancies to Assistant or General Manager.
- Assume additional management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or General Manager.
- Perform projects and assignments as directed by the Assistant or General Manager.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with our People First Philosophy.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years retail Visual experience
- 1-2 years' experience in home related design or visual merchandising preferred. Specialty retail preferred.
- Effective communication, organization and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Visual Merchandising: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- French (required)
