**DEPARTMENT**:
The Fund Development department aims to develop and implement strategies to increase the funding income of Islamic Relief through a range of fundraising initiatives and through the acquisition and retention of donors, volunteers and community supporters

We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, and passionate individual to play a vital role in our fund development team’s efforts this Ramadan.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations
- Assist with collections, distributing pamphlets, and/or other materials
- Connect/network with regional volunteers for fundraising and event planning
- Assist the team with executing upcoming events
- Promote IRC at community events and respond to donor queries
- Responsible for ad hoc projects and tasks as required
- Assist in implementing community initiatives and overseeing logístical components to such initiatives

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high standard of oral and written communication
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Energetic and passionate about helping the needy all over the world
- Social Media & Photo/Video Skills are not mandatory but would be an asset
- ** A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required**:
