**Position Title**:Bookkeeper
**Reports to**:Controller
**Overview**
The Bookkeeper is responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
**Financial Responsibilities**
- Keep financial records, maintain, and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems
- Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
- Reconcile sales, credit cards and bank accounts on a weekly basis
- Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms and other government documents
- Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data
- Other duties as assigned
**Operations**
- Maintain knowledge of current legislation and changes to employer obligations
- Attend training sessions as required to ensure quality and up-to-date information
- Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Preserve and protect the business values of the company, and support the business mission
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
