We are hiring a Maintenance Reliability Manager to support our bakeries in Quebec.
Working closely with the Engineering and Maintenance teams and leading the Engineering Technician Team, you will support and improve manufacturing operations by driving technical expertise on critical production equipment across all plants. You will be supporting the OEM Projects and overall maintenance activities related to these projects.
Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing Engineering Technician Team
- Responsible to assign projects and prioritize tasks for Engineering Technician Team
- Coordinating Maintenance Projects and Communications with Maintenance Leaders
- Ensure successful onboarding and scheduling of Engineering Technician Team Members and
- ensuring team has proper resources
- Make recommendations to maintenance leader for preventative maintenance activities (advising best practices for SOPs for Maintenance activities)
- Recommendation to maintenance leaders for enhancing equipment lifecycle
- Training Sanitation team on equipment care and sanitation practices (e.g. creating SOPs for Sanitation)
- Recommendation of spare parts requirements for Maintenance
- Train and guide all levels of Engineering technician Team Members
- Responsible to identify Safety Hazard and recommendations for corrective actions
- Promote and support Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing
- Contributes/fosters Health & Safety/GMP’s
- Monitors existing processes and makes recommendations for improvement
- Coordination of tasks and collaboration with Electrical team when required
- Travel between production facilities in the region to assist critical repairs as needed
About You:
- 5+ years of experience mechanical/electro mechanical maintenance/installation
- Millwright license required - Electrical License an asset
- Thorough knowledge and operation of major baking equipment would be an asset
- Ability to complete design review and recommendation for newly built equipment
- Advanced knowledge operating of HMIs and basic knowledge of PLCs of all process equipment
- Ability to identify Safety Hazard and recommendations for corrective actions
- Experience building/installing conveyors/protype equipment
- Ability to execute layouts of blueprints on manufacturing floor
- Basic understanding of PLC’s/logic controls and panel view navigation (HMI)
- Experience with maintenance systems and computer programs (MS Office; Excel; Outlook)
- Must have a valid driver’s license

En travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de l’ingénierie et d’entretien et en dirigeant l’équipe de techniciens en ingénierie, vous soutiendrez et améliorerez les opérations de production grâce à votre expertise technique sur l’équipement de production essentiel dans toutes les usines. Vous soutiendrez les projets des fabricants d’équipement d’origine et les activités d’entretien globales liées à ces projets.
Principales responsabilités:
- Superviser l’équipe de techniciens en ingénierie.
- Attribuer les projets et établir l’ordre de priorité des tâches pour l’équipe de techniciens en ingénierie.
- Coordonner les projets d’entretien et les communications avec les chefs de l’entretien.
- Assurer l’intégration réussie et la gestion des horaires des membres de l’équipe des techniciens en ingénierie et veiller à ce que l’équipe dispose des ressources appropriées.
- Faire des recommandations aux chef
