**Job description**

Reliable Home prides itself on exceptional customer service while providing homeowners with general maintenance and repairs of their homes.

**Your role will involve**:
Reporting to the CEO/Founder and the Executive Assistant.

Expect to work hard but be supported and accommodated by the rest of the team as well. You’ll hold weekly goal setting and review meetings with the owner to share concerns, ideas, and successes.
- Our Operations staff are trustworthy, and we are looking for a strong leader for them.
- Responsible for the daily and weekly scheduling of our crews and jobs, long term planning and collaboration with the owner.
- 7 day/wk availability and attention to communications from clients and staff is required, we support the need to disconnect, and this responsibility can be transferred to another manager when needed. On-Call shifts are a requirement.
- Time management is a vital personal skill for this role.
- Preparing estimates for additional work on our sites
- Provide recommendations to clients and cost-effective solutions.
- Communicating with customers to ensure optimal operations and customer satisfaction
- Work in all weather conditions as required.
- Work comfortably with heights.
- Take responsibility for decisions affecting productivity and profitability.

**Applicants must have/be**:

- HANDY
- Comfortable at managing others and being managed.
- Comfortable working unpredictable schedules and getting the job done at whatever it takes
- Problem solving, time management and organization skills.
- Driven to grow and learn within the industry, and our company.
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a management role.
- Above average technical skills, able to competently operate a computer/tablet/phone. Training on our industry specific software will be provided.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high stress situations.
- Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record. (Copy of Driving Abstract will be required at interview)
- Clear criminal record check

**Compensation and Benefits**:

**Experience**:

- Management: 2-5 year’s experience (preferred)
- Ability to pass home maintenance and repair aptitude test

**Licence**:

- Class 5 Driver’s License (required), no convictions or demerits.

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Handyman experience: 1 year (required)
- Maintenance: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
