**The Role**
As the Warehouse Coordinator, you are critical to the success of the business by operating a safe, clean and efficient warehouse environment. You work closely with the rest of the team to successfully complete tasks. You understand the importance of organization, planning and clear communication. You lead by example, ensuring events are executed with the utmost attention to detail.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the organization and logistics of the Cory Christopher design studio warehouse
- Ensure the warehouse remains organized, tidy and clean
- Keep the warehouse space flowing smoothly, especially during busy times
- Assist with projects by pulling and packing items
- Construct key pieces for events, weddings and displays
- Provide assistance for onsite installation
- Lead the loading and unloading for key projects
- Complete deliveries for set ups and installations, including floral and planter deliveries
- Oversee shipping and receiving
- Maintain pertinent warehouse documents
- Errands and shopping for the studio warehouse and projects as needed
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Experience and familiarity in a warehouse environment ideal
- Experience with safety policies, procedures and Occupational Health and Safety regulations is desirable
- Basic knowledge of lightweight tools, power tools and the ability to follow assembly instructions
- Lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license (the nature of event prep and installation means that a single shift may be split over multiple locations)
- Previous event experience is an asset, but not required
**To succeed in this role, you will need to**:
- Happily cooperate as part of a team, taking direction from both leads and fellow crew members
- Be confident executing tasks independently
- Prioritize and tackle what needs to be done first - and switch tasks as needed
- Maintain a positive attitude under the pressure of tight timelines and high expectations
- Appreciate that the details really do matter
- Be organized, timely and responsible
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and late nights
- Stand, crouch, bend and work on their feet for long periods of time
- Lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Work outdoors, occasionally in unpleasant weather
- Keep safety in mind at all times
- Possess excellent spoken English and general communication skills
- Maintain a professional appearance (work on location may require an all-black dress code)
- Some travel may be required, as needed
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evenings
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
