**Responsibilities**:
Act as a crucial liaison between executive leadership and employees, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Manage all People Operations functions, such as onboarding/offboarding, benefit & compensation administration, payroll, time off requests, and conduct audits for work permit qualifications.

Maintain alignment with employment laws and regulations at the local, provincial, and federal levels, showcasing a thorough understanding and practical experience in this area.

Actively engage in recruitment efforts, ensuring a talent acquisition strategy aligned with company goals.

Proactively assess and innovate HR operations to enhance effectiveness.

Implement performance management initiatives tailored to the specific team.

Plan and direct employee engagement events, which promote a high-performing, inclusive, and mission-driven culture.

Oversee all aspects of office functions (e.g. inventory, catering, trips, budgeting, and more) and optimize the office environment to boost employee satisfaction.

Refine employee benefit programs and implement measures to enhance the system.

Foster a positive and productive workplace atmosphere through administrative initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Expertise in HR domains such as compliance, policymaking, compensation and benefits, and organization development.

Experience in talent acquisition, including employee assimilation, hiring, and deployment.

Ability to facilitate the timely flow of information for analytics and reporting for different HR processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat.
