We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Billing Specialist with expertise in financial analysis, customer service, and dispute resolution to join our dynamic team. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and analyzing invoices, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both business and customer requirements.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Address customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within specified time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Initiate disputes with carriers on behalf of customers.
- Review and analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of information entered.
- Educate customers on best practices to avoid additional charges.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
**Must have**
- Adherence to laws and best practices regarding dealing with customers and data.
- Comfort with handling numbers and processing financial information.
- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and ER software (JDE or other).

**Prefer to have**
- 1 year of experience as a Billing Specialist.
- Experience in the Freight/Logistics Industry, particularly in LTL or Courier services.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

- Billing Specialist: 1 year (preferred)
- Freight/Logistics Industry: 1 year (preferred)
