**Core Rental Services Ltd.** is an equipment rental company that provides equipment rentals, sales and service. We are a family owned company that has been serving the Saskatchewan market since 2008. Core Rental Services is an authorized dealer for a number of major brands such as Genie, JLG, Haulotte, Frost Fighter, Wacker Neuson, and Multiquip. We service all makes and models of aerial equipment, telehandlers, generators, air compressors, and more.

We are currently recruiting for **Journeyman Heavy-Duty Technician** for work in our Saskatoon location, offering competitive wages and benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct, supervise & advise apprentice(s)
- Ensure all equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, and in a timely manner
- Perform preventative, planned, and unplanned maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and test faults or malfunctions to determine extent of repair required
- Complete service calls for on-site repairs (all seasons)
- Conduct performance and quality inspections according to manufacturer’s procedures
- Maintain records in accordance with company policies
- Demonstrate commitment to safe work practices
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
- Represent Core Rental Services in a positive and professional manner

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Journeyman Heavy Duty Trade Certification (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment
- Self-starter, dedicated and able to manage multiple tasks
- Well organized with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks
- Ability to work diligently alone, or in a team environment
- Personal Mechanic tools
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license

**As part of our hiring process, you will be asked to**:

- Provide a criminal record check
- Complete drug and alcohol screening with a negative result
- Complete a fitness evaluation related specifically to your position
- Provide copies of current certifications

**Job Types**:

- Full-time (Monday - Friday, Hours 8am - 4:30pm), Permanent

**Experience**:

- Mechanical: 5 years (preferred)

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
