**Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) (Triage Coordinator), VCA-MOVEH / Emergency Department.**

**VCA Canada Mississauga-Oakville Emergency and Specialty Hospital** is currently recruiting for a dedicated fulltime Registered** Veterinary Technician (RVT)** to join our team. Our RVTs have the opportunity to work with and learn from other RVTs and knowledgeable support staff as well as our board-certified Specialists. If you want to expand your knowledge and skills, joining the VCA-MOVEH team would be a great opportunity for career advancement.

While previous experience in a Veterinary Hospital is an asset, our RVT’s are given the necessary tools and resources to help them succeed. Additional qualifications and attributes you must embrace to be successful in this role:

- ** Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT** or eligible to register
- Ability to perform a variety of clinical procedures including (not limited to): Venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, in house lab work, patient assessment, sedation and anesthesia, and patient recovery
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a steady, often fast paced environment
- Willing to further enhance technical skills and expertise
- Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment
- Confident and supportive team player who can also work independently when required
- Flexibility, willingness and passion needed to provide the highest standards of care for our patients, clients and each other

**Schedule**: 36 hours/week
