**Location**: Ottawa West and Valley

As a **Labourer** in Residential construction, you would be working with teams that dig and backfill foundation walls in new residential communities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist team members with the completion of excavating, backfilling, and grading of foundations in residential subdivision projects in the City of Ottawa and throughout the valley.
- Participating in landscaping tasks, including planting, sodding, and general yard maintenance.
- Ensuring the job site is maintained and organized by sweeping, disposing of waste, and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Preparation of construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Operating basic construction machinery and tools, such as drills, saws, and power tools.
- Willing to take on various tasks as needed to support the overall project

**Requirements**:

- Prior construction experience is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation is required
- Ability to work long periods of time and work in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Working hours may vary between Monday to Friday.
