**What would my role be?**

Reporting to the Director, Clinical programs, you will:

- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate all activities of the assigned unit in order to provide high quality patient care.
- Manage the administrative and clinical of a patient care unit in accordance with the Public Hospitals Act, the philosophy, mission and strategic direction of Bruyère Health, the standards from Accreditation Canada, the Regulated Health Professionals’ Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the relevant collective agreements.
- Ensure efficient patient flow.
- Manage clinical issues, practices and home first philosophy.

**How do I qualify?**

Required:

- Undergraduate degree in Nursing or in an Allied Health Profession.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Medical, Surgical Nursing or related Allied Health.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a leadership position.

Preferred:

- Master’s degree in nursing, Health, Public, Education or Business administration
- Fluent in French and English

- Superior communication skills (both oral and written)
- Extensive knowledge in the field of designated program
- Able to effectively manage change.
