Briar Hill Children’s Programs is a non-profit, licensed child care program providing exceptional care to children in our Out of School Care programs. We have been a valued part of the community for over 40 years and work in close partnerships with our schools.

We are looking for motivated, experienced and enthusiastic educators to join our team.

To be eligible for this position, you must have a Level 1, 2 or 3 Childcare Certificate.

The roles and responsibilities of the successful applicant are;
Provide effective supervision of the children

Build meaningful relationships with the families, staff, school and management team

Provide and implement programming based on the needs, interests and abilities of the children

Communicate with the children, families, staff and our management team on a daily basis

Model appropriate interactions and conflict resolution

Continue to take part in continuous learning and professional development opportunities in an effort to maintain current best practices

Flexibility We are looking for educators who can work opening shifts, closing shifts, split shifts, etc.

Computer Skills

The ability to engage in physical activities (running, swimming, lifting 40 lbs.)

The ability to set limits and lead a group independently

Confident, capable, and caring individuals who excel at teamwork.

We offer;
Flexible Positions - part-time, split shifts

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour + Government Wage Top Up

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $19.50-$28.50 per hour
