Pure Vanilla Bakery and Café is seeking another great part-time dishwasher. We are an open, friendly and hard-working kitchen and are looking for someone to join that kind of team. No deep-fryers, charbroilers, or late nights, but lots of baking trays and butter cream. Commercial dishwashing experience an asset but energetic, hard-working and reliable rookies are welcome to apply.

The open position is for two days a week, Monday and Tuesday, 8 am-4pm (approximately).

Paid half-hour break, tips, free meal, discount on bakery items, lots of free parking nearby.

**Responsibilities**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Check dishes for cleanliness and return to their storage locations
- Assist in food preparation when needed, by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients for cooking.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors and taking out garbage, recycling and compost.
- Put away orders when requested.
- Follow food safety guidelines during food handling and service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Assist front staff with collecting dirty customer dishes from bussing stations inside the restaurant and from the patio areas.
- Assist front staff in maintaining cleanliness of patio areas.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is a bonus
- Strong cleaning and dishwashing skills
- Knowledge of food preparation and handling practices
- Ability to assist with baking and cooking tasks
- Familiarity with food service and hospitality standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
